Joyful volunteer singers fill the choir stall at Ware Episcopal on Sundays at 10:30 am Rite II worship. They rehearse weekly on Tuesday afternoons from 4:00-5:30 pm in the Chapel of the Christ Child, located in the church’s Parish Hall. Periodically, they support worship on Feast Days with an Evensong (all-sung worship) service. Reading music is not essential, and neither is 100% attendance required. A sign-out calendar helps the Director of Music Ministries plan anthems for weekly presentation. The only requirement is a love of God, a love of music, and a positive attitude. Speak with any choir member or with organist Patti Taylor if you are interested in joining this small group at Ware Church.

Organist and Choir Director Patti Taylor came to Ware Church in December of 2020. She earned both Bachelor and Master’s degree in Music Education, as well as Certificate in Piano performance while studying with composer/pianist Carlisle Floyd at Florida State University, Tallahassee., FL. Patti began studying pipe organ privately when she was in high school, and she has served many churches in Florida, Texas and Virginia. Additionally, Patti teaches private piano lessons at Grace Episcopal Church in Kilmarnock, VA. She enjoys working with our choir and with children in preparations for weekly worship and our annual Christmas Pageant.
