Community Breakfast -- Sundays at 9:15 a.m.
Join us every Sunday morning at 9:15 for a simple breakfast of biscuits and coffee, coupled with conversation as we get to know one another better. This is a great time to ask questions, wonder out loud, and build community. All ages are invited to join in the conversation.
Bible Study -- Mondays at 10:00 a.m.
Each Wednesday during the program year we gather for study and discussion on either a Book of the Bible or a work of theology. For instance, last year we read the Book of Isaiah in the fall and N. T. Wright's Simply Jesus in the spring. The group as a whole decides what we would like to study next.
Education for Ministry (EfM) -- Tuesday evenings
EfM is a renowned program through Sewanee: The University of the South geared at empowering lay persons through education for ministry. A local group meets at Abingdon for conversation and reflection.
We believe in the importance of community in helping our children and youth grow in their Christian faith. Click here to learn more about how we do this.
