The Gloucester Farmers Market is the second Saturday of the month, May through October from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Patron parking is located just past the Historic Church on Route 14 (John Clayton Memorial Highway).

The Gloucester Farmers Market at Historic Ware Church will take place on the second Saturday of the month, May through October, 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Vendors, non-profits, and food trucks are welcome to begin applying to reserve their spot (see below).

Ware Church is located one mile from Gloucester Court House in Route 14.  The ample parking, shaded market, and scenic view make this an enjoyable day out for all.   Come and support the local farmers, skilled artisans, and fresh goods, all while exploring the beautiful setting of Historic Ware Church.  We also plan to have food trucks and live entertainment.

As we begin the endeavor, we will need help setting up and taking down the market: it will take those invested in Gloucester's continued growth to make this market a success. Email glocofarmersmarket@gmail.com to let us know you're interested in helping facilitate a market day

    Information for Vendors

Please reach us at glocofarmersmarket@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.  The application can be found below.

First, you submit the below application (either through Google Forms or downloadable PDF).  The Farmers Market Manager will review the application and get back to your with confirmed dates.  Payment is required 10 days prior to the market day, otherwise you will forfeit your spot.

The week of the market, you will be contacted with a list of all the vendors and your assigned location.  Please note, the assignment of vendor spaces is at the discretion of the Manager and may change from month-to-month.  Please note, political or religious signage/liturature may not be posted or distributed.

Each Vendor site is 11' x 11' on a solid, gravel lot.  The majority of the lot is shaded, depending on the location of the sun and time of day.  Vendors must provide their own tents.  Please note, tents must be weighed down and not staked.

Spaces that allow parking are reserved for farmers/produce vendors.

Set-up begins at 7:00 a.m.  Vendors must have their vehicle moved and parked in the vendor parking lot by 8:30 a.m.  The market opens at 9:00 a.m.  It is expected that vendors remain for the duration of the market (1:00 p.m.).

WiFi, Water, and Electricity will not be provided for vendors.  Generators are not allowed, except for Food Trucks.

In the event of a forecasted rain, the Manager will email vendors with the decision prior to the market about how to proceed.  It will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.
